Governor Uba Sani makes fresh 16 appointments in Kaduna

As the administration approaches its first 100 Days in Office, the governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, has approved the appointments of 16 more persons to deliver on his administration’s sustained manifesto. 

Those appointed into various positions are: Umar Waziri – Special Adviser, Revenue Matters; Umar Baba Bambale – Special Adviser, Drugs &Narcotics Control; Prof. Aminu Ladan Sharehu – Chairman, Local Government Service Board, and Arc Abubakar Rabiu Abubakar – Managing Director, Kaduna State Development and Property Company Ltd (KSDPC), according to the statement signed by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, on Wednesday.

Others include Hadiza Yahaya Hamza as Managing Director, Kaduna Industrial and Finance Company (KIFC); Engr. Inuwa Ibrahim – Managing Director, Kaduna Line;  Dr Iliyasu Neyu – Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Aids Control Agency (KADSACA) and Dr. Usman Abubakar – Director-General, Kaduna State Quality Assurance Authority (KSSQAA).

Accordingly, Dr. Bello Jamo is the Executive Secretary, State Primary Health Care Board (SPHCB); Joseph O. Ike – Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Bureau for Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment (KADBUSA); Mohammed Rili – General Manager, Kaduna State Agricultural Development Agency (KADA);  Rakiya A. Umar – Executive Secretary, Kaduna State Disability Affairs Board;  Usman Hayatu Mazadu – Executive Secretary, State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).

While Muhammed Mu’azu Mukaddas is the General Manager, Community and Social Development Agency, Dr Jamilu Haruna is Permanent Member, State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB) and Maryam Abubakar – Executive Director (Corporate Services), Kaduna State Development and Property Company Ltd (KSDPC), respectively.

While congratulating the new appointees, Governor Sani urged them to excel by creating initiatives and programmes that will benefit the people of Kaduna State, adding that, they must serve the people of Kaduna State “with the utmost diligence, discipline and honesty.”
