Nigerian-US-based Global Humanitarian Services expert and first woman beneficiary of three American Presidents’ Volunteer Service Award recipient, Her Royal Majesty (HRM) Chief Temitope Ajayi, has described subsidy removal and palliative approach as laudable.
She also noted with excitement, the declaration of state of emergency on food security, adding however that making the foods available to the real and target audience and needy should not be seen as impossibility, “if the right model of distribution method is applied.”
An Accountant, Chief Ajayi who made the assertions yesterday, in a statement made available to our correspondent, commended President Bola Tinubu administration also on the arrangements being made to ensure equitable distinction of the palliatives to Nigerians in records time.
President Tinubu had recently declared, with immediate effect, the state of emergency on food security and that all matters pertaining to food and water availability and affordability, as essential livelihood items.
According to Chief Ajayi, managing humanitarian resources amounts to extreme form of unbiasedness and fairness, which requires expert knowledge of people of humidity, religious and high-level international applicability in global humanitarian services management and charity.
An ardent Tinubu supporter, the expert also observed that, the country is confronted with numerous socio-economic disparities, including poverty, inadequate healthcare access, insufficient education opportunities, and a lack of essential services in communities.
“These challenges require a visionary leader, who possesses the expertise, compassion, and determination to bridge these gaps and uplift the lives of our fellow citizens,” she stated.
A groups, under the umbrella of ‘Concerned Nigerian Women and Young Adults Movement,’ had recently released a statement drumming support for her appointment as Minister of Humanitarian Services ahead of Tinubu ministerial formation, following her wealth of experience in that regard.
