Ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo has again expressed his strong belief that Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the election held on February 25, continues to be the candidate for a better Nigeria.

Reveled that, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) that declared Bola Tinubu, who was the candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), as the winner of the election.

However, this declaration was followed by legal challenges from opposition parties and their candidates, including the Labour Party and Peter Obi, who contested the validity of the electoral process that resulted in Tinubu’s victory.

During a recent conversation with media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the former President emphasized his belief that, despite President Tinubu’s declaration as the winner of the last election, Obi is still the candidate that the country requires. “For the Nigeria that I believe we need to have at this point in time, Peter Obi is still the best candidate,” said.

When reflecting on his most profound impact, the ex-president expressed, thus: “My greatest legacy lies in the fact that I arrived on this earthly realm, where God’s boundless kindness was bestowed upon me, and His grace illuminated my path.”
