INEC reveals Breakdown of Governorship Election results in Plateau State

The results of the Governorship election in Plateau State has been announced, as follows: PDP scored 525,299, while APC got 481,370 votes cast and the LP got 60,310.

Returning Officer of the Governorship election, Prof. Idris Amali, announced this on Tuesday at the INEC office in Jos.

While declaring the results, Prof. Idris Amali said Barr, Caleb Mutfwang was declared as the winner, as he scored 525,2996 to defeat the ruling party (APC)’s Nentawe Yilwada, who got 481,370, while LP’s Dr. Patrick Dakum got 60,310. 

The results of the 4 local government areas in Plateau State that were remaining, which were scheduled for Monday, have been announced by the Returning Officer of the 4 local governments at the INEC office in Jos.

The results are as follows: In Jos South, PDP got 84,103 votes cast, while APC had 35,403 and LP 10,865, with total votes 133,710 with (rejected votes) 1,425.

In Jos North, APC got 83,170 votes, PDP had 64,690 and LP 6,925, with total votes cast of 160,122 with rejected votes of 1,848, and Bokkos had a total votes cast 54,709 with rejected votes of 74; PDP got 26,529, while 20,779 votes cast and LP had 5,876.

Also, in Qua-anpan, PDP got 31,727 votes; APC 24,900 and LP with 1,825, while total votes cast was 59,516, with rejected votes of 518.
