…To inaugurate campaign council, committee.

As preparations for the inauguration of the campaign council and committee of the Labour Party (LP), scheduled for Thursday, startling revelations have emerged on how the party is planning to win the February and March 2023 general elections in the state.

The state chairman of the party had earlier told our correspondent on phone of series of meetings in progress for the inauguration of the campaign council in the state.

Earlier, it was gathered that the party’s presidential and vice presidential candidates, Mr. Peter Obi and Datti-Ahmed, would “sweep the polls” in Kaduna State, come February and March, 2023, due to cross-carpeting.

The state Party Chairman, Hon. Auwal Tafoki, who confirmed the information, however, denied in totality, the allegation that the state is not doing enough for the party’s candidates to emerge victorious.

“We are doing a lot. The person, who told you we are not doing enough, is not telling you the truth,” the chairman said, while revealing (in a chat) that, they have done a lot of ground work in consultation and sensitization of people that matter in the three senatorial zones of the state to put the LP in proper perspective as a party to beat.

He noted with nostalgia and happiness that, like the 2015 tsunami, victories of the presidential candidates of the party would not only add impetus but also spur electorates in Zaria, Kaduna Central and Southern Kaduna to vote massively for the party’s governorship candidates and others into victory in the state.
