He was given the chieftaincy title along with 28 others on Saturday by their paramount ruler, Sa Gbagyi ll, HRH Mr. Ishaku Yari, at his palace at Ungwan Baro, in Sabon Tasha area of Kaduna State.

Speaking to journalists after the coronation ceremony, Sa Gbagyi, who received his staff of office a few days before Saturday, explained that, the turbaned kinsmen was made possible because of State Government’s permission to do so.

“It’s because it was not long that I was given the staff of office, I have not constituted my council and I felt the need to do that; hence the turban and coronation ceremony today, so that we hit the ground running.

“I want to call on those turbaned today, that, you are honored today not for nonchalant, but that you are  appointed to serve the people. As titled holders, you should be careful you they go and what you do. All eyes are now on you,” he said, while wishing them successes.

According to him, three among those turbaned on Saturday were turbaned to take the place of the demised parents, such as the Galadima, Chiroma and Jagoba of the Chiefdom.

In an acceptance speech and votes-of-thanks, the newly turbaned Galadiman Gbagyi, Chief Andrew Fadason, sincerely appreciated Esu Chikun on behalf of those turbaned.

While he appreciated the honour done to them, Fadason assured HRH, the Esu Chikun, that they are not unaware of the tasks ahead of them on the coronation.

He, however, pledged that they will not disappoint HRH and the people of the kingdom, and thereafter appealed for prayers from all and sundry for them to succeed, adding that they will do their best to ensure that they succeed.

While thanking God for a successful event, Chief Fadason prayed that He will grant all people journey mercies.

HRH also charged the title holders to sustain the legacies of their parents, so as to carry out the work that God has bestowed on them to do in this life.

He specially called on women titleholders to bring the peace they are known for, even at home, and be brought to bear in the place.
