Former Deputy Governor during Governor Joshua Dariye’s administration, Chief Michael Botmang’s son, Pam Botmang, who is Commissioner for Works, has been picked as a running mate to Dr. Nentawe Yilwada for the 2023 governorship race of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Plateau State.
While unveiling his running mate at the APC Secretariat in Jos, Wednesday, Dr. Nentawe Yilwada said, it was after consultations with critical stakeholders in the state that he is announcing to the party and supporters that he has picked Pam Botmang as his running mate for the 2023 governorship election in the State.
He called on the good people of the State to support the choice of Pam Botmang as his running mate, and urged them to come out en-masse to vote for their ticket during the forthcoming 2023 general elections.
“Your mandate in 2023 will enable us to build a peaceful, prosperous, and greater Plateau State,” he said, adding that, “zoning was critical as well as integrity,” he said, and thanked the APC for finding him worthy as its candidate. and assured not to let the party down.
He assured also that, he is working towards uniting all members of the party in the state, so that it would emerge victorious, come 2023.
Chairman of the party in the state, Hon. Rufus Bature, said the campaign for their governorship election would be rancor-free, adding, “APC has the best governorship candidate, and we would market him to the people of Plateau,” and assured that, everyone would be carried along during the campaign, which will be at the grassroots.
