The Presidential Aspirant under the platform of People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Rt. Hon Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, has assured all Nigerians that the country will be better under his stewardship.
He sued for peaceful coexistence amongst Muslims and Christians in the country as the country passes through hurdles of leadership.
The Presidential Aspirant, who is also the Governor of Sokoto, who was represented by the Director of Campaign, General Tunde Ogbeha, interacted with the Plateau delegates to canvas for their votes during the forthcoming primaries.
He said that, “Despite the challenges facing the Sokoto State that led to the imposition of curfew by the governor, we still want to solicit the cooperation of Plateau PDP delegates.”
While describing his visit to the state as “home coming,” he called on the delegates to vote him for the next candidate of PDP, and expressed satisfaction with the turnout of the delegates to welcome his campaign team as he assured the people of the state to provide a conducive atmosphere to all Nigerians.
Tambuwal urged all citizens to imbibe the spirit of tolerance and forgiveness in their daily conduct, saying, “We must accommodate each other and preach oneness.”
According to him, his leadership style of a Speaker of the House of Representatives and, now, eight years’ tenure as the governor, has empowered him to handle the affairs of Nigeria without been bias.
He assured to address the problem of insecurity in Nigeria, if given the mandate to rule the country. His plan is “partner with the traditional institutions to fish out bad eggs in the society.”
