3 Abducted Persons Rescued by Plateau Police in B-Ladi LGA

The Plateau State Police Command has confirmed the rescue of three persons abducted behind Plateau State Polytechnic Heipang, in Barki Ladi local government area of Plateau State.

The Police Command had earlier confirmed the abduction of the three persons in Ban Village (behind Plateau State Polytechnic Heipang) on the 12 of January, 2022, at about 20:05hrs.

Earlier, the statement was signed and issued to newsmen in Jos on Thursday by the PPRO, ASP Ubah Gabriel Ogaba, who said, immediately the report was received, a team of Policemen of the Command and OPSH raced to the scene where one suspect was arrested. 

According to the statement, the team of Police and STF deployed to rescue the victims, who were kidnapped on Wednesday at Ban Village behind the Plateau State Polytechnic had rescued them on Thursday, 13/1/2022, at about 1430hrs unhurt and are presently with the Police. Meanwhile, effort is still on to arrest other perpetrators of the crime.

Earlier, the Commander of Operation SAFE HAVEN, Maj-Gen Ibrahim Ali, has directed the troops to ensure the victims are rescued unharmed. 

He equally urged the public to support the security agencies with credible information and report any suspicious movement in their vicinity, for prompt action.
