No hiding place in Kaduna as bandits invade Ungwan Bulus, attack Sabo GRA

Residents of Ungwan Bulus and that of Sabon Tasha GRA, sub-urban communities in Sabon Tasha area of Kaduna State have decried invasion of bandit attacks.

The bandits’ invasion, which occurred in the early hours of Saturday, reportedly led to the kidnapping of some residents, including newly-built owner occupants in Ungwan Bulus, who are yet to be identified.

Heavily-armed with sophisticated weapons, the bandits, with the intension of launching a house-to-house search, were engaged by men of Nigerian Army in a fierce gun battle for hours before they fled.

An eyewitness attested that, “Nonetheless, the men of the Nigerian Army engaged them in fierce gun duel for over 2 hours before the attackers fled,” adding that, she counted over 50 bandits that walked past her window side.
