by Achadu Gabriel, Kaduna

A Coalition of Northern Group (CNG) has commended Alhaji Abdulrahman Buba Kwaccam over his sterling leadership style in uplifting the living standard of the people, calling on northeastern politicians to emulate him.

The CNG said it was a star witness in an occasion organized by Alhaji Kwaccam where the Adamawa-born, renowned philanthropist presented 19 buses and other vehicles to individuals and religious bodies, including Muslim Council of Nigeria (MCN), Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Market Women Association, Cattle Dealers, Women, Youths and people with disabilities.

The Coalition also revealed that many other communities were also presented with transformers by Alhaji Kwaccam to address their electricity challenges.

A statement by President of the Coalition, Dr. Yusuf Makarfi, described Alhaji Kwaccam as a politician and a philanthropist per excellence with a rare and an uncommon passion and commitment to addressing the plight of the masses.

Dr. Makarfi further stated that the call to emulate Alhaji Kwaccam became very necessary in view of the humanitarian efforts demonstrated by the renowned politician over the years.

According to Dr. Makarfi, “He has been assessing politicians, both elected and appointed, in the area of leadership and good governance. He observed that the outstanding qualities of the renowned politician, Kwaccam, which he scored very high in his commitment towards initiating programs, has direct bearing on the people of Adamawa State.

Dr. Makarfi also said that, “Only few politicians in the country have the people at heart. Politicians with rare and uncommon leadership qualities of the likes of Alhaji Abdulrahman Kwaccam should entrust them with political leadership as elected representatives either in the Senate or House of Representatives.”

These, he noted, will serve the people with zeal, thereby turning around their lives for good.

The Coalition, known for promoting peace and good governance, has called on politicians from the north-eastern part of the country to emulate the exemplary leadership styles of Hon. Abdulrahman Buba Kwaccam in uplifting the living standards of the people.
