Sir Ahmadu Bello Foundation donates 2 motorized boreholes to communities in Plateau

by Juliana K. Tauna, Kaduna

The Managing Director of Sir Ahmadu Bello Memorial Foundation, Engr Abubakar Umar, has encouraged residents of Plateau state to leave in peace and avoid any actions that would cause disharmony among them.

Engr Umar said this in a statement made available to journalists on Friday in Kaduna.

According to him, the Foundation on Thursday, 17th December, 2020, commissioned and handed over two motorized boreholes it constructed and donated to 2 communities, in Barikin Ladi communities.

He said the effort was in line with the Foundation’s mandate of “interventions in critical areas” like clean water supply to needy communities.

The communities thanked the Foundation for the gesture and assured it that the two facilities donated would be properly looked after and maintained.

The communities, who benefited, include Yelwan Gindin Akwati and Ngher, in Gashis district of Barkkin Ladi LGA of Plateau state.
