Gombe: Kwami LGC to receive 3 classrooms by Senator Alkali

The Senator representing Northern Senatorial District, Senator Saidu Ahmed Alkali, has said out of concern and desire to address the challenges of the scarcity of classrooms in the area, he has also moved to establish three classrooms with store and office, in Abuja Bula Kompulata Ward of Kwami local government area of Gombe state.

He said, the gesture was to mitigate the deficit in educational facility and infrastructure, which poses serious adverse impact on education sector in Gombe north.

The Senator was represented by Alh. Abdullahi Haruna Abdullahi (Bakoza), who stressed that, “The gesture was to complement the efforts of Gombe state government at boosting the quality of education in the state.”

Also speaking, Speaker of Gombe State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Abubakar Luggerewo, commended Senator Ahmed Saidu for the giant stride in educational sector, adding that the synergy between the Senator and Gombe State Government to improve the standard of education is commendable, and called on other stakeholders in the state to emulate the Senator for the development and progress of the state.

He also expressed satisfaction with Senator Ahmed’s commitment towards achieving standard of education in the state, especially as it benefits the good people of his constituency, noting that the humility, exemplary representation and hard work of Alkali have inspired other representatives at their respective levels.
