Governor Nasir el-Rufai of Kaduna state has been called upon to extend its good gesture being done in other parts of the state to its Narayi suburb, in terms of roads construction to ease the suffering of the people of that area.
The call was made by the District Head of Narayi, Mr. Sule Sarki Garba, saying that the road network in the area is very bad with only Shagari to Bayan Dutse road to boast with.
According to him, the only road leading to Narayi is so narrow and needs to be widened up, while the other roads are all in bad shape.
“Other roads, like Narayi Road, Zaria and Kujama Roads linking with other areas such as Bayan Dutse, among others, are in bad shape.
“Whenever there is traffic on Shagari Road, there is no alternative road one can break through to the other side,” he said.
“I am calling on the government to, please, consider us. We are his people; we know the work he is doing, which is making a lot of impact to the people, and he is touching the lives of humanity. This gesture should be extended to our area,” he pleaded.
On the area of peace, the district head said there are different tribes in Narayi and titles have been given to people from almost all the tribes, in order to foster peaceful coexistence in the area.
He however called on the people in Narayi to be law abiding at all times as well as embrace peace with one another.
