As part of its continuous efforts to extend relief to the needy in the society, NASFAT, an Islamic body’s headquarters has delivered cooking food as Sallah meals to vulnerable members of Hayin Banki community, the NASFAT Village, through its Kaduna Zone.
The meals delivery team was headed by the NASFAT Kaduna Branch chairman, Engr. M.A. Yusuf, who led the delegation to the palace of Sarkin Hayin Banki and the head of Hayin Banki community, Sarki Mahamuda S. Galadima.
While at the palace of the community head, the branch chairman reiterated the commitment of NASFAT to assisting vulnerable members of the society, irrespective of tribe and affiliation, and expressed satisfaction with the cordial relationship between NASFAT and the host community.
Responding, the community head welcome members of the delegation and thanked NASFAT for the kind gesture and expressed happiness on behalf of the entire community for having NASFAT situated in their community, and assured of continuous cordial relationship.
The two days’ programme, which took place between 24th and 25th of May, 2020, was meant to give succor to the vulnerable at the Sallah period. “The meals were delivered at the palace of the community head to about 180 beneficiaries.
