..Says, “Kano ‘strange deaths’ effect of Corona killing”

Kaduna state governor, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, has reiterated that the current Almajiri system in Kaduna state has been prohibited and abolished.
The governor, who made the assertion during a media chat, also said that anyone, who travels to Kano state during Sallah, will not be allowed to return to Kaduna state.
He also stated that the ‘strange’ deaths in Kano State are nothing but effect of Corona killing people. “They know but they just don’t want to tell people. Enemies and illiterate politicians that we defeated in the last general elections are the ones deceiving the people to rubbish us because we defeated them,” he said.
The summary of El-Rufai’s Media Chat clearly stated that, “No date on the lifting of the lockdown. Anyone, who goes to Kano or any other town for Sallah, should not come back to Kaduna.
“The Almajiri system is totally prohibited and abolished in Kaduna. Before Sallah, KDSG will share palliatives donated by a mobile telecom company to the vulnerable and poor from, 21/5/20.
“Kaduna will commence payment of May salaries to its civil servants to enable them (Muslims though) prepare for the feast, increase the temporary markets, in order to reduce crowd.
“Mosques will not be opened because of those shouting for it to be opened. They don’t love the religion more than Saudi Arabia that has kept all mosques closed. The ‘strange’ deaths in Kano State are nothing but effect of Corona killing people. They know but they just don’t want to tell people.
“Enemies and illiterate politicians that we defeated in the last general elections are the ones deceiving the people to rubbish us because we defeated them.
“On Sallah day, I, el-Rufai, will personally travel to Kaduna-Kano border and supervise activities going on. The Deputy Governor will travel to Kaduna-Katsina and supervise activities on that axis.
“The SSG will be around Kaduna-Abuja axis on Sallah day to stop erring motorists coming into Kaduna with Sallah gifts.
“All the decisions taken are taken for the good interest of our people. Anyone doubting the existence of Corona virus should come to Sir Kashim Ibrahim House (Govt House) and let’s take him to the hospital wards where the victims of the virus are present, to spend two days; if he feels it in his body, he knows the story to tell.
“Kaduna government has sanctioned the sale of Zaria Hotel. The government will refund the money to the initial buyers. Government will now build a hospital there.
“During Easter, no individual or groups of Christian clergies came and begged for Churches to be opened for the celebration. They know – even Rome in Italy was closed.
“No one single case of Corona-virus in Southern Kaduna, because they are obeying the lockdown rules. All cases of the virus are around Northern Kaduna,” he stated.
