In spite of challenges of insecurity and kidnapping, Caleb Danladi Foundation has distributed fertilizers worth hundreds of thousands of naira to widows in southern part of Kaduna State to improve their farm produce and standard of living.
The distribution ceremony was held Friday in Sabon Gida, Ungwan Rana Daddu and Ungwan Kifi Daddu communities, in Jaba local government area of the state amidst excitement and jubilation by beneficiaries.
In a remark, Ffounder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the foundation, Captain Caleb Danladi Bako, explained that the measure was aimed at assisting the beneficiaries, who cannot afford single measures of fertilizer in the face of severe hardships in the country.
Captain Danladi Bako, represented by the Foundation Coordinator, Mr David M. Tuk, stated that over sixty bags of the fertilizer was distributed to over 86 widows across board in the three communities.
“The reason for distribution of the fertilizer is to help the widows, because they cannot afford a single measure, and also due to hardship in the country,” he said.
According to the coordinator, assisting widows has become an annual ritual and events by Mr Caleb Danladi Foundation in supporting the people’s needles because of the passion he has for them.
In an interview, benefiting widows – Mrs Rhoda Daniel and Mrs Veronica Ezekiel, respectively, thanked Caleb Danladi Foundation, the CEO, and his parents that gave birth to him for the gesture.
The beneficiaries also sincerely prayed Almighty God to continue to bless the foundation’s founder and protect him wherever he goes, saying, “All the widows asked God to bless him and his family with abundant blessings, and keep his life.”
