…Attacks barbaric – ACDA Leader

A fresh attack on Atak’Njei community in Zangon Kataf local government area of Kaduna State, by suspected gunman has claimed eight lives.

The attack, which occurred at about 9pm last Wednesday night, according to local reports, is coming about a week after a similar incident on Langson community in the same local government area that claimed 10 lives.

Zangon Kataf Local Government Area Chairman, Mr. Francis Sani Zimbo, has already confirmed the attacks to newsmen, saying, the injured are currently receiving treatment at different hospitals in the area. 

Reacting to the development, the National President of Atyap Community Development Association (ACDA), Mr. Sam Timbuwak Achie, condemned the attack, describing it as barbaric.

He tasked all those saddled with the responsibility of securing the people to fish out those behind the series of attacks in Atyapland.

Atak’Njei is the community housing the Palace of the Atyap Paramount Ruler, Agwatyap.
