The Plateau State Governor-elect, Caleb Mutfwang, has called on the people of the State to focus on the things that unite them, rather than the divides that exist among them.

He made the call when he received a delegation of prominent sons and daughters of Mikang Local Government Area of the state, led by Rt. Hon. George Daika, former Speaker of the State House of Assembly, on a courtesy visit at the Jonah David Jang Lodge, Old Government House, Rayfield, Jos recently.

He asserted that, “The people of Mikang would be leaning on the Governor-elect to realize the area’s potentials in the aspect of growth and development and, especially, the upgrading of the College of Agriculture Garkawa to a degree awarding institution.”

The Governor-elect in his response urged the delegation to pray for the prosperity of the State so that even the least council areas would feel the presence of government.
