…Says, “Tinubu, Atiku, Obi – none will become President.”

A controversial veteran politician and Chieftain of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), in Kaduna, Abdulkarim Abdul, has said that none of the three major contenders of the 2023 Nigeria’s presidential election will become the county’s president.
The former presidential aspirant, who could not afford the party’s nomination form in 2023, had earlier predicted that the 2023 presidential election would end up with interim government that would later sweep away old breed politicians, including the three major contenders.
He said, as also predicted by a Pastor of Southern Kaduna extraction, APC candidate, now President-elect, Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar will be swept out completely from the political scene as well as Peter Obi.
According to him, even though some of the contenders like Atiku Abubakar promised taking the election matter up to International Court, he will not succeed in making any headway.
He lamented that Nigerians are so corrupt to the extent of buying votes for hundreds of millions of naira during the primary elections of All Progressives Congress (APC) and that of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
In particular, he said Tunney, the President-elect’s celebration was scanty – sensing that he must have seen there is danger.
“Right from the beginning, I know there is going to be problem because of the way Nigerians worship money, coupled with what an activist, Naajatu Muhammad, said.
My worry is about those who made the country proud before, like IBB, Obasanjo, Goodluck Jonathan, T.Y. Danjuma and a host of others.
“I’ve seen a vision: people with myopic thinking cannot rule Nigeria again, except those with liberal minds like him,” he lamented.
He also said that he wrote a letter to Mr. President Buhari at Aso Rock, and the letter was acknowledged with a copy with him till date.
The content of the letter, according him, was on why should some elements be allowed to come and drag the country’s good fortunes and foundation put in place by great grand fathers of Nigerians, into the mud?
While he condemned the call by Tinubu on Atiku and Obi to come and join hands with him to form Unity Government, he said the call was wrong and could have been personal.
According to him, Nigerians are very patient people, but regretted the hardships the people are going through under Buhari due to new naira note policy, urging them to eschew more patience for good coming ahead.
He expressed worry that the heroes, present and past, like T.Y. Danjuma, Abacha, IBB, Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, amongst others, who had held the country together, are keeping mute.
Accordingly, he noted that all the countries that Nigeria started with them, in the 60s, have gone far in development, saying, “But our country is still in this low-level, foot-dragging, and even rated second most poorest country in the world.”
