MACBAN to hold National Security Summit on Pastoralism in June

…Holding under Sultan of Sokoto leadership.

…To seek solution to insecurity.

Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association of Nigeria (MACBAN), the major umbrella body of Fulanis in Nigeria, has fixed June 2022 for national security summit on pastoralists in Nigeria.

MACBAN is organizing the summit in conjunction with Northern Consensus Movement (NCM).

The security summit, according to the organizer, among other things, will find workable solution in curbing insecurity situation across the country.

A first of it kinds, the summit is slated for 1st June, 2022, at 10:00am at Ladi Kwali Hall, Sheraton Hotel, Abuja, under the leadership of His His Eminence, the Sultan of Sokoto, Alh. Dr. Sa’ad Abubakar III.

The chairman of the occasion is the Emir of Katsina, Alh. Dr. Abdulmumini Kabeer Usman, while Lt-General Abdulraman Bello Dambazau and Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi will serve as guest speaker and the special guest of honor, respectively.

MACBAN and NCM are urging the general public to attend the summit – being the first of its kind.
