APC’s Presidential Aspirant, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, has asserted that, he would unify the nation as one cohesive, yet, diverse unit, where people will not be discriminated against on basis of ethnicity, religion, class or gender.
He said he will promote inclusion in decision making, allocation of opportunities and participation and promote equity in the allocation of state resources.
The Vice President was in Jos to address delegates to the forthcoming Presidential Primaries of the All Progressives Congress (APC), when he assured of building a “strong and enduring” Nigerian identify, which knits all the diversities into a robust national fabric.
The Presidential Aspirant assured to improve economic performance and well-being of Nigerians, and will continue to invest in building the capacity of the security forces and win the battle against banditry, terrorism, extremism, kidnapping and other anarchical enterprises.
Speaking to journalists shortly after addressing the delegates, the VP said they had a very robust and useful interactive session with the delegates, and they also had the opportunity to talk about the economy, about the health care and a wide range of things.
“We were all able to understand some of the issues that are prevalent, and some of the issues going and what is required to make our country greater, more secure, more prosperous. I think it was a healthy engagement and everyone is happy; I’m happy, too,” he stated.
