Terrorists have again launched fresh and colossal attacks on a community in Chikun local government area of Kaduna State, killing two and kidnapped twenty others.
Local sources, who confided on our reporter, said the terrorists killed a young husband and kidnapped his pregnant wife, his child and 20 other natives in Kabala Kasaya community, while a second victim, Lucky Yakubu, was killed on his way from Barange to Kuruku Village.
The terrorists have also reportedly sacked the entire village, while many other persons reportedly fled for fear of repeat attacks.
Kaduna State Police Command spokesman, ASP Muhammed Jalige, could not respond to calls or replied SMS on the allegations when contacted.
An eyewitness source, however, said the incidents occurred at about 9pm between Sunday and Monday.
In accompanying pictures, the source in the statement described that, “That one with red T-shirt was killed on his way to Buruku from Barange Village.
“One was killed on Sunday 9:00pm, 20th February, 2022, in Kabala Kasaya, Chikun LGA Kaduna State, Nigeria, while his pregnant wife with a child was kidnapped with about 20 other people. Presently, the village is no more in existence,” the source added.
“The kidnappers came in three motorbikes, carried the boy and killed him and freed others within the area of Buruku; the one in red T-shirt,” the source added.
In a related development, terrorists have reportedly attacked Rigachukun community in lgabi LG area of Kaduna State, eyewitness source has revealed. During the attacks, which occurred last night, the terrorists allegedly shoot a Customs Officer and kidnapped six other residents.
The Customs Officer is reportedly in a “critical situation” in hospital due to severity of bullet injuries sustained. Some sources have already insinuated he is dead this morning, but others confirmed he’s “alive in critical condition.”
Kaduna State Police Command spokesman, ASP Muhammed Jalige, is yet to respond to calls made to confirm the true story.
