PLATEAU STATE: Vwang community celebrates “Nzem Shey Pas 2022”

The Member Representing Kaltungo/Shongom Federal Constituency of Gombe State in the House of Representatives Abuja and Deputy Chairman House Committee on Human Rights, Hon. Dr. Karu Simon, was in Vwang to celebrate the Vwang New Year Cultural Festival, known as Nzem Shey Pas 2022, in Jos South local government area of Plateau State.

Hon. Simon, led five Members of the Gombe State House of Assembly, including former Gombe Majority Leader, to honour his colleague in the House of Reps, Member Representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos.

The Lawmaker, who was Chairman of the Nzem Shey Pas 2022, described his colleague, Hon. Bagos, as a shining star in the 9th Assembly, saying he is one of the best legislatures.

According to him, even though he as an APC elected member, but had to lead Gombe Assembly members to honour Bagos, who is a PDP member, “because of his good heart in promoting the unity of Nigeria.”

He said, Bagos has preserved the identity of the Berom nation in the National Assembly by always wearing the Berom identity in the green chambers, adding that, Bagos is an elected official, who will stand to defend his people by identifying with them.

While appreciating the warms reception received by the good people of Vwang District, Hon. Simon donated cash sums to support the development of the Vwang Community. He urged the people of Vwang and, most especially, the Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency to reelect Hon. Bagos back to the National Assembly to continue with more good for the development of the community.
