The Nasarawa State Bureau for Information and Communication Technology has commenced training of 270 Nasarawa workers as part of efforts to encourage digitalization among it Civil Servants in the state.
The Director-General of the Bureau, Comrade Shehu Ibrahim, made this known in an interview with some journalists at the Bureau Head Office venue of the training, recently, when he disclosed that, the state’s civil servants will be trained on Free Microsoft knowledge.
According to him, Nasarawa state is third among leading ICT States in the country, adding that, they are carrying out this training on ICT master plan for the state in collaboration with the National information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) with a view to attain digital economy to logistics conclusion as well as to ensure its sustainability in the state.
The Director-General commended Governor Abdullahi Sule for all the encouragement rendered to the Bureau in actualizing ITC dreams and digital skills as his cardinal concern since assumption in office.
