Plateau grieves death of Ujah Anaguta Jos

The Senator representing Northern Senatorial zone, Senator Istifanus D. Gyang, has said he is grieved by news of the demise of the Ujah Anaguta Jos, HRH Jauro Magaji, who died on the evening of Saturday, 28th March, 2021.

The Senator recalls that the late monarch was a royal father, who invested immensely in the pursuit of peace and promoting of harmonious coexistence in Jos north. He noted that, the demise of the Ujah Anaguta Jos “is a huge loss to the state and Plateau North Senatorial District in particular.”

A statement to this effect was issued to newsmen in Jos on Monday, signed by his Special Assistant on Media and Protocol, Musa Ibrahim Ashoms.

“Senator Gyang, in a grieving mood, expresses and conveys his personal condolences and that of the good people of Plateau North to the State Council of Chiefs and Emirs, the Anaguta nation and, indeed, the entire state over the demise of a respectable and peace-loving royal father, the Ujah Anaguta, Jos.

“The Senator prays God to grant the soul of the royal father eternal rest,” it stated.
