About 70-year-old woman has been reported missing in Kaduna, a state recently described as hotbed of kidnappers, bandits and other heinous crimes by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Kaduna State.
The woman, known as Mrs. Talatu Gabriel Keta, allegedly left her residence on Thursday, 17th March, 2021, at No. 35, Jaba Road, behind ECWA Hausa, Ugwam Boro community, Sabon Tasha in Chikun local government area of Kaduna State.
According to family sources (by Mr. Gabriel Mathias Agwatyap (son)), Mrs. Keta, who is black in complexion, slim and short, left home on the fateful day dressed in wrapper, with black/white top in bathroom slippers, and could not return back up till today.
According to the family, Mrs. Keta is also suffering from loss of memory, apparently owning to ageing.
The incident occurred a day after two suspected to be bandits were allegedly sighted on motorcycles in same Ugwam Boro by shop owners, which also coincided with the kidnapping of varsity students, two others and killing of a policeman in nearby Kariji community by bandits.
The missing of the old Mrs. Keta has also been reported in Churches, including St. Mary’s Catholic Parish, Ugwan Boro, last Sunday during Mass by Church leaders.
Contacted, the spokesman of Kaduna State Police command, Mohammed Jalige, could not respond.
