The Fulani Development Association of Nigeria (GAFDAN) has said there is the need for them to come together to fashion out blueprints for implementation on “how to work for the actualization of the dreams of the founding father of the Association, late Alhaji Sale Bayari, for the betterment of nomads.
The Acting National President of the Association, Alhaji Sulaiman Yakubu, disclosed this in a statement, which was made available to newsmen in Jos on Sunday, when he said “This is the time for all the different Fulani groups in the country to work assiduously for the emaciation of the people.”
According to the statement, all is now set for the National Meeting of Gan Allah Fulani Development Association of Nigeria (GAFDAN) in Jos, Plateau State Capital next week Friday.
He said, the meeting of the National Executive of the Association from all six geo-political zones in the country will discuss the way forward, following the sudden death of Association’s founder and leader of Fulani in the African sub-regions, Alhaji Sale Bayari, whose 40 days’ prayers will hold on Saturday after the meeting.
Alhaji Sulaiman Yakubu, therefore, called on all the zonal officers, state chairmen and national woman leadership of the GAFDAN in the country to attend the crucial meeting for the “way out after the death of leadership of the Association.”
