2021: PRP chieftain identifies problems of Nigerian politicians

by Achadu Gabriel, Kaduna

PRP chieftain hosts Muslims, Christians in Kaduna on New Year day.

Vice Chairman of People’s Redemption Party (PRP), who doubles as chairman zone II, Saint Kamven Enoch, has said the problem with politicians in Nigeria is over selfishness and greed.

He made the remarks, while playing host to a large number of Muslim and Christian members, colleagues, friends and well-wishers, who paid him homage for 2021 New Year at his residence in Sabon Tasha, Kaduna.

He said emulating the good virtues of those, who were there before him for peace and unity, is his priority, urging politicians to learn the habits to accommodate one another for the purpose of development.

“A lot has come and gone, as we sit down here as you can see. We discuss freely, without sentiment of tribes or religion, and it’s building up our relationship and unity.

“We discuss things that we should not allow us to be misled by anyone in this New Year, among other things,” he said.

The NNPC/KRPC retiree urged politicians to emulate the good virtues of PRP and serve God and humanity to ensure a peaceful society, free of insecurity, kidnapping and corruption in the year 2021.

According to him, “There’s no benefit owning everything without peace and unity. Materials and infrastructural development could hardly occur in a state of unrest, anarchy and insecurity of lives and property.”
