His Royal Highness, Alh Shehu Suleiman the Pannkwal Bogghom, has been reportedly abducted at his residence in Namaran, Kanam local government area of Plateau State, by (unknown) gunmen on Sunday night. The Royal Father is said to be above 80 years of age.
Concerned citizens of the state, while sympathizing with the family and Bogghom nation, lamented that, “It is sad and despicable; it is a negation of our cherished values as Africans, who accord high regard and respect to our traditional institutions. We appeal to the conscience of his abductors to free him unconditionally.”
Our correspondent observed that, in recent times, our Royal Fathers have become soft sculpting muscles with masteron targets for criminals.
Chairman and founder of Chris Giwa, Ambassador Chris Giwa, while sympathizing with the people of Kaman, appealed to government and the security agencies to strengthen security around them, and action should be expedited to secure the release of His Royal Highness and reunite him to his family.
According to him, “I can’t but imagine the trauma his family is undergoing, considering his age and impeccable service to the traditional institution. I pray for God’s soothing comfort, love, and guidance at this difficult moment.”
Notwithstanding the apparent reality of the issue, our correspondent was informed by the Plateau State Police Command’s PPRO that “the Command is yet to confirm the incident.”
