JOS – The Plateau State Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Bulus Bot, has sponsored the fixing of bad roads stretching over five kilometres to link three villages in Barkin-Ladi local government area of the state with urban centres.
The commissioner has so far completed the “resurfacing” of a 2.3km road in Pwomol Village through “self efforts.”
Similar projects totaling 3kms are ongoing at Rek Hamlet in Pwomol and Ban Villages near the Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin-Ladi.
“The efforts are complimentary to the ‘Rescue Administration’s’ quest for rural transformation and infrastructural development in the state,” Mr. Bot told MKB.
His joy, however, is that the people in the benefitting communities are full of gratitude for the projects, and assured of extending same to other local government areas in the state.
