Why Nigerians Should Re-elect President Buhari – Publisher

By Achadu Gabriel, Kaduna

Publisher of Lliberator, a Kaduna-based weekly tabloid and National Chairman of Buhari National Votes Guards and Awareness, Dr. Kailani Mohammed, has called on Nigerians to make sure they re-elect President Muhammadu Buhari, come February, 2019, to enable them continue to enjoy the dividends of democracy.

Otherwise known as ‘A kasa, a tsare, a raka,’ the chairman, who made the call in an exclusive interview in Kaduna, said President Buhari’s performance in the last three-and-half years is a source of pride to Nigerians.

He described President Buhari as a man of discipline and believes in the rule of law, due process, fairness and stands against indiscipline.

“To tell you the truth, PDP mismanaged Nigeria and its resources, but as soon as President Muhammadu Buhari took over the mantle of leadership in May, 2015, the country came back to its senses.

“President Muhammadu Buhari has done a lot in the areas of security, education, health, agriculture, employment, dredging of River Niger, youth and women empowerment, construction of roads/bridges, enhancement of rail and air transportation, among others.”

Dr. Kailani disclosed that President Buhari’s administration has revived all the PDP abandoned projects, saying that, so far 70 percent of these projects have been completed, while 30 percent were at various stages of completion.

He called on Nigerians to give all the needed support and cooperation to President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration through prayers and maintenance of peace with a view to achieving the desired result.

He also called on Nigerians to always see themselves as brothers and sisters, saying, “Nigeria belongs to all of us; we must come together, irrespective of tribe, political differences, etc., and work as a team for peace, unity and development of the country.”

Dr. Kailani, who is a chieftain of APC, commended the APC National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomole, for his hard work and sincere leadership.

According to him, “The governors castigating him, are doing so for their selfish interests. Please, leave Adams Oshiomole alone; we stand by him for APC internal democracy, growth and development.”

He appealed to the entire members of APC in the country to remain united and to continue to give support to Adams Oshmole’s leadership aimed at ensuring peace and harmony.
