Some septuagenarians are of the opinion that because they served under the late Sardauna of Sokoto, there is nothing to life again beyond servility.
A retired utility general, who made so much capital out of Abuja, could also not see beyond the filthy lucre of a decadent system. Both of them prefer to live in the defunct past, rather than gaze into the brighter future with faith and hope.
“There is nothing like Middlebelt” or “Middlebelt is dead,” so they said. Someone is of the opinion that these two suffers from chronic myopia. Hmmm! You could also say they are ‘nought–earners’!!
But no one can do anything against an idea whose time has come. Up the Middlebelt!!!
Lest we forget, we wish Chief Sunday Balorunduro Awoniyi Eku Odun Ileya (or is it Barka da Sallah, in accordance with the ACF’s language?). General Jerry Useni should hold tight to his second-half of ANPP for the North, please. N-o-u-g-h-t e-a-r-n-e-r-s !
